SMART STRATEGIES FOR IAQ IN CLASSROOMS

On 17 June, the workshop ‘Smart strategies for IAQ in classrooms’ was held in the context of the 3SqAir programme. The aim was to disseminate the theme developed in the project and to present the different visions and experiences of agents related to the subject.

The workshop featured the views of different experts on air quality in classrooms, including Alejandro Payán de Tejada from the Spanish Technical Architecture Council CGATE, Daniel Sánchez Peinado from the Passivhaus Building Platform, Nerea Lertxundi and Aitana Lertxundi from the BioDonostia Health Research Institute, Peter Albrecht from A+O Architects, Alberto Rodríguez from Siber Ventilación and Luis María Sánchez García from STEC Home.

The meeting dealt with interesting topics such as the effects of atmospheric pollution on intrauterine growth, child development and ventilation control for air transmission in classrooms.
