University of the Basque Country

The researchers on this project form part of the research group CAVIAR (Quality of Life in Architecture), with numerous research and development activities within the scope of this proposal.
Over past years, they have worked on projects which have allowed them to enhance their knowledge when it comes to designing strategies for improving air quality in university buildings, residences and offices.

All of these have been based on 3 work methods: monitoring the parameters linked to air quality (air temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide concentration or time renewals), user surveys and dynamic simulation.
The combination of these 3 methods has allowed them to calibrate the evaluation process and strategy prioritisation.
