Activity

CTCV is a private non profitable organisation founded in 1987. It was created to support the industry on a nationwide basis. Its main goals may be summarised as “to provide technical and technological support to industry; to promote the development and quality of industrial products and processes; to promote highly specialised training; to divulge scientific, technical and technological information; to carry through and dinamize R&D and technology transfer”​.

Description of the activity about the project:

CTCV is an Entity of the Scientific and Technological System, certified by CERTIF according to NP EN ISO 9001 and with laboratories accredited by IPAC according to the norm NP EN ISO / IEC 17025, for the performance of analysis and tests. It is also a Sectorial Standardization Body recognized by the IPQ, with an active participation in National, European (CEN) and International (ISO) Standardization Technical Commissions.

The CTCV’s performance is essentially based on the partnership it develops with clients, other entities of the Scientific and Technological System and Sectorial and Regional Associations, as well as rigor and credibility, allied to the strong innovation and technology transfer component.

It holds an Environmental Monitoring Laboratory, accredited by IPAC (technical annex nº L0307), according the normative reference EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2005, since 2003-01-07 for 24 technical tests in areas of: Gaseous Effluents, Ambient Noise and Air quality.
